Louis Marie Bridal Policies and Procedures
We value you as a client and we want your experience to be an enjoyable and memorable one, therefore, it is important to us that you have a clear understanding of our policies and procedures and we want you to feel confident in our ability to meet your needs and to feel comfortable ordering as Louis Marie Bridal guarantees the best price possible.
Walk-in customers are welcome, as are special appointments. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  We take personal checks for deposits only. (There is a $35.00 return check fee.)
SPECIAL ORDERS

DELIVERY

·Depending on the Designer you choose, please allow 1-6 months for Wedding Gowns and 1-4 months for Bridesmaids, Mothers, flower-girl, and prom dresses. For In-Stock gowns please allow 1 week for delivery.
·Some manufacturers provide RUSH CUT and AIR SHIPPING services which can cut delivery times considerably for an additional charge.
·Please note if time is limited, specific stock gowns may be purchased off the rack.
·Fabric dye lots may vary, so it is important to order all Bridesmaids dresses at the same time.
·Manufacturers can also be contacted for available stock for immediate shipping.
·When merchandise is ordered a wear date is noted, however, Louis Marie Bridal can not guarantee manufacturers “ship dates” as there is no control over manufacturer’s schedule. We do, however, guarantee delivery of all merchandise in time for your wear date.
SIZING
·Once measured each client will be shown a manufacturers sizing chart.
·The client will then choose the closest standard size based on their measurements at time of ordering.
·Please note: dresses are NOT CUSTOM MADE to measurements and may require alterations.
·Specific designer gowns require hollow to hem measurements, which will determine the length of the gown at an additional charge.
·Depending on the Designer extra length may be required for anyone (over 5'7") for an additional charge.
·A majority of manufacturers offer a full range of sizes from 4 - 32, there may be a sizing charge for sizes over 18.
ALTERATIONS
·Independent and professional seamstresses provide superior alterations and we have steaming in store for an additional charge. (Note: All dresses that are ordered through Louis Marie Bridal will be steamed once free of charge and again following alterations. Just drop your dress off but be sure to pick it up within 1 week)
·When you are contacted that the gown has arrived, an appointment for you’re first fitting can be arranged in store with a seamstress.
·Louis Marie Bridal is NOT responsible for any measurements not taken by a member of our staff or for estimated measurements due to pregnancy or possible weight loss for gain.
·Appointments for alterations must be confirmed with seamstress, who will provide you with an estimate.
·During peak seasons seamstresses will determine how many appointments are available.
·Once the seamstress has the gown, second fittings are to be setup by the seamstress only.
·Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to appointment.
·Undergarments, crinoline and shoes are required for first fittings and on any Hollow to Hem measurements. Alterations, Bustle and cups are extra.
·Louis Marie Bridal is not responsible for any work performed by any alterations specialist.
DEPOSITS
·We require payment in full for any purchases $500.00 or under and 50% deposit for any purchase over $500.00, however, we can work with any budget. Upon paying any deposit of 50%, the remaining 50% will be due on or before the manufacturers’ ship date. (please note, this applies to the entire parties purchases as a whole; excluding bridal)
·Deposits are not refundable and all sales are final!
·Authorized exchanges are charged a 20% restocking fee. Exchanges for special orders can only be made within the first 24 hours following an order to the manufacturer.
·By placing any order you are agreeing to the manufacturers’ style, color and size.
·Bridesmaids dresses will not be ordered until all members of the party are measured and a minimum of 50% deposit has been made.  Louis Marie Bridal is not responsible for rush charges incurred if a member of the party is late ordering her dress

RETURNS
·ALL SALES FINAL, NO CASH REFUND policy is standard in the bridal industry. Please examine your purchases upon receipt and address any problems immediately.
·All in store sample merchandise is SOLD AS IS and cannot be returned or exchanged
·The client is responsible for all cleaning and/or repairs that may be required on discounted gowns and accessories.

Louis Marie Bridal is always happy to help in anyway we can. We understand that things change and sometimes events do get cancelled, however, upon cancellation of any event, we are not responsible for items left in our possession for more than 30 days. Should this occur, the items in our possession will automatically become property of Louis Marie Bridal and any or all payments made towards said items will no longer be considered.
